<p><strong>1st Connection Advanced: Prospecting in 1st Connection with the Client Gateway – </strong><strong>August 16, 2010<br />
</strong>Students will learn how to: Communicate with their clients by using the 1st Connection Prospecting system; Choose the best method &amp; format for relaying property listing information to their prospects; Set up a personalized website for each of their prospects to house listing information; Create a search that reflects the criteria of their client; Use the prospecting system to manage, track, &amp; follow up with their prospects; Use Reverse Prospecting as an aggressive marketing tool to bring together.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) is the premier seller agency designation, conferred by the SRS Council, recognizing real estate professionals who have completed special education in seller representation.</p>
<p>Regardless of how long you have been in the business, Seller Agency has been available and more importantly, it remains the primary focus for agents across the country. Since the advent of Buyer Agency and the emphasis on training how to be an effective buyer representative, it has become apparent we can no longer assume Seller Agents have the same level of effectiveness. The SRS Council set forth a new seller designation that would take a new agent to an accomplished level sooner and an already successful agent to an even higher level of competency.</p>
<p>Key components of the SRS Designation class:</p>
<ul>
<li>Identify elements of a business plan to generate listing business.</li>
<li>Identify branding basics.</li>
<li>Identify Sphere and Cold lead generators.</li>
<li>Identify key methods sellers use to find a listing agent.</li>
<li>Understand how to create a Client Packet for sellers.</li>
<li>Review Do Not Call Rules.</li>
<li>Identify key aspects of a seller counseling session.</li>
</ul>
<p>This two-day course taught by Frank Mears is being offered at NAMAR, July 21 &#8211; 22, 2010. The cost is $225 and includes 12 hours CE Credit, Materials, Exam and complimentary first year annual SRS Council Membership. This class is eligible for a Georgia Association of REALTORS Scholarship. <p><strong>The Accredited Buyers Representative Course (ABR</strong><strong>) </strong>is being offered on <strong>May 10 – 11<sup>th</sup></strong> and has been reduced to $199.<strong> </strong>Learn how to be a buyer&#8217;s agent and how to get the buyer to want to hire you. Revisit agency in a totally different environment, through the eyes of a buyer client. Get a comprehensive list of qualifying questions. Learn to use buyer agency disclosure as a tool to sell yourself as a buyer&#8217;s agent. Class is from 9:00 am – 4:30 each day. You will receive 12 CE Credits for this 2-day course which is eligible for a Scholarship funded by the Georgia Association of REALTORS.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>The Good, The Bad, The Ugly</strong><strong> </strong>is a fun course focusing on common problems and issues that occur in the Atlanta housing market.  Learn how to identify concerns when showing a house, understand problems when presented, understand what is significant and what can be easily remedied and how to write an inspection addendum that will protect you and your clients. The class is being offered <strong>May 12</strong>th and is FREE to NAMAR Members. Class begins at 9:30 am and you will receive 3 CE Credits.</p>

<p>Each class is offered at NAMAR and cost $39 for NAMAR and NARPM Members / $78 for Non Members. The classes run from 9:30 am &#8211; 12:45 pm and issue 3 CE Credits. <p>RE/MAX Center Broker Patrick Finnick made a commitment to his agents that he will do everything in his power to see that they are provided the latest, most up to date and most comprehensive information available in today’s Greater Atlanta Real Estate Market. Last month a continuing education class was held that focused on the 2010 edition of the Georgia Association of REALTORS contract forms. For that class renowned teacher and certified trainer Tom Gillette was brought in.</p>
<p><strong>PhD in Listings Marketing</strong></p>
<p>The month of February will be exciting for RE/MAX Center agents as several training, educational and Mastermind Group meetings and classes are scheduled. As fact would have it, yesterday Cleve Gaddis, head of one of the premier real estate teams in North Atlanta, shared his PhD in Listings Marketing class with agents that signed up. This was an unbelievable educational session and multiple valuable ideas were shared. Special thanks go out to Cleve for sharing his hard work and helping make RE/MAX Center agents better prepared for the marketplace.</p>
<p><strong>More Special Events Next Week</strong></p>
<p>On February 10 there will be 2 Mastermind Group meetings that will be focused on “Turning Internet Leads into Closings”. Both meetings will be held in the Suwanee Conference Room with the first one starting promptly at 9:00AM and the second one at 1:00PM. Patrick Finnick and Mack Perry will be your facilitators for these Mastermind Groups.</p>
<p>On February 11 you are in store for a real treat. There will be a 1ST Quarter Mini Blitz lead by Holly Fogel that will focus on “Learning to Run Your Business with Referral Ingredients”. This meeting will be at the Wells Fargo Conference Room on Satellite Blvd in Duluth and will be held starting promptly at 8:30AM. This is a 5 week activity based course that is designed to get you fired up about your business and your success in 2010.</p>
